Two eggs are bouncing out of the basket on this Easter bunny with basket coloring page, and the bunny keeps hopping across the meadow with a big smile. It holds a woven basket with a braided handle and three decorated eggs inside. A sun and two clouds sit above round bushes on a hill, and six flowers grow in the grass below. With many medium-sized shapes, it is an intermediate page for ages 5 to 9.

How this coloring page was created

For this page, we typed this idea into Colorin AI: "an Easter bunny hopping across a spring meadow and carrying a woven basket full of decorated Easter eggs on its arm, with two eggs bouncing out of the basket and flowers in the grass, with the whole drawing kept above an empty white margin at the bottom of the page". The meadow scene on this page is the drawing that idea produced.

How to use it

Before an egg hunt, a family can color the page and count the eggs together, three in the basket and two in the air. A kindergarten teacher can point to the dashed arrow between the two loose eggs, which traces their bounce, and ask the class where each egg will land. A speech therapist can ask a child to name each part of the picture, such as the basket handle or the sun, as it gets its color.
